Training
At Sleuth Software, we don't think you should learn to use your software from a book or through trial and error. That's why we include comprehensive onsite training at your agency with your new software purchase to ensure your staff gets off to a great start.
|
Our professional trainers conduct classroom- style training in a fully functional computer lab so each student learns how to use Sleuth by actual supervised, hands-on simulation. Every effort is made to provide converted data from your agency for training, so students can work with familiar information.
Onsite training covers all aspects of Sleuth, from data entry and retrieval to administrative tasks, so your staff is ready to deploy Sleuth with skill and confidence.
Beyond the installation ....
Sleuth offers a number of continuing education opportunities for new staff or those needing a quick refresher on the software.

Web Training
Live, online training courses let your staff can learn to use Sleuth without leaving their desks. Web training classes are offered periodically on a variety of popular software topics. Training sessions are conducted in short 2 to 3 hour blocks on subjects ranging from system administration to NIBRS, civil process and CAD.
Web training classes are conducted by live, experienced Sleuth professional instructors, who demonstrate software functionality while narrating their actions, much like in a typical classroom setting. Class participants see the instructor’s display on their computer screen and can hear and interact with the trainer and other students over a telephone line accessed through a toll-free number.
Sleuth’s web training provides an inexpensive way for agencies to improve employee’s efficiency through supplemental training and live, demonstrations of answers to student questions. Classes can be scheduled for individual agencies or as group training open to all agencies. Custom web training is also available as a cost reduction alternative to onsite training for new installations.

Documents are stored in a read-only .MHT web type file format and can be viewed on demand by any network user.
With Electronic Library, administrators can create a personalized library of agency relevant information such as operating guides, emergency procedures, telephone lists, schedules, case notices and more.
